International Security

The internet is a widely used resource used across the globe. People use it for communication, research, and many other things. Unfortunatly, the internet is also used for fraud, money laundering, and criminal uses. The internet can be used to get things that can be valuable to other countrys or people, such as secret files and personal items. For these reasons, internet security is a major concern for international security. We cannot be distracted by the direct front of war in Iraq. We must have a lookout at all times for internet threats as well. It doesn;t matter where the person may be, in the US or not, they can contact someone who is or trick someone who is unknowing. Although the internet is a very reliable source, you have to be careful who you give information to. For all you know, you could be talking to a terrorist when you think they are one of your friends.
